Dhangadhi: Seven players of the Dhangadhi Cricket Academy (DCA) have secured a place in this year’s Nepal Premier League (NPL) Season-2. Dca players were also selected after 37 cricketers were signed for different teams in the auction held on Saturday.
Maritnagar Kings have retained Lokesh Bam and Naren Bhatta and the same team has signed Narayan Joshi for Rs 5 00,000. Chitwan Rhinos have signed Bipin Rawal for Rs 500,000.
Similarly, Sudurpaschim Royals have bought Dipendra Thapa and Tek B Rawat for Rs 200,000 each while Janakpur Bolts have signed Sachin Bhatta for Rs 200,000.
DCA family congratulated the players for the emergence of local cricket talent at the national level and wished them a bright future.
according to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), a total of 164 players participated in the auction. A total of 51 players have been retained in eight teams this season.
Earlier, six dca players were signed in the first edition of The Nepal Premier League. The second season is scheduled to be held in November.
