Dhangadhi: The three-day “ScaleUp Nepal Training Program 2026,” held in Dhangadhi from June 26 to June 28, concluded successfully with a focus on youth entrepreneurship, business thinking, and modern technology-oriented skills.
The program was conducted from June 26 to June 28 at the Seminar Hall of SPA College, Santoshi Tole-2, Dhangadhi, with support from the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) under the U.S. Embassy Nepal.

Delivering the welcome address, Project Coordinator Rupali Poddar emphasized the importance of such initiatives in empowering young people to become self-reliant, innovative, and competitive in today’s evolving professional landscape.
Amit Agrawal, Founder of ScaleUp Nepal, facilitated sessions on “Entrepreneurial Mindset,” in which he shared insights into the foundations of successful business development, leadership capacity, startup growth, and opportunity identification.
Representing the U.S. Mission, Dhurba Shah delivered special remarks and highlighted the significance of entrepreneurship development and innovation-focused programs in strengthening the capabilities of Nepali youth.
On the second day of the program, AI Consultant and Trainer Chandan Gupta conducted training sessions on “AI for Productivity” and “AI for Work Workflows, Writing & Automation.” He also led practical demonstrations on how Artificial Intelligence can be used to improve efficiency, streamline daily work processes, and enhance productivity in professional environments.
The final day featured sessions by Corporate Trainer Shaurav Lohani on “Sell Me Without Selling” and “CDO Sales Pitch.” Participants engaged in practical exercises focused on business presentation techniques, client communication, sales strategies, and confidence building.
The program witnessed active participation from aspiring entrepreneurs, business owners, and skill-focused individuals. According to the organizers, the training encouraged young people to develop entrepreneurial thinking, use modern technologies effectively, strengthen presentation and communication skills, and shift from being job seekers to job creators. Organizers also expressed confidence that such initiatives would help young entrepreneurs expand professional networks, identify new opportunities, improve digital competencies, and gain practical knowledge to thrive in a competitive market.

SPA College served as the Collaboration Partner for the event. Other partners included Sunway College Kathmandu as the AI Academia Partner, WorldLink as the Internet Partner, Yeti Airlines as the Airlines Partner, AMCHAM Nepal and NUSAN as Ecosystem Partners, Khalti Suraksha as the Protection Partner, Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited as the Insurance Partner, and Bread Box, along with The Rubus Hotel, as Hospitality Partners.
The program formally concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony and closing session for participants.
